Please note: This trip requires a car. There's no point in going to L.A. without one unless you're willing to waste $$$ on ride shares. Prove me wrong.
1. Start in the Grand Central Market. This is the city food market. You have many choices to choose from so try a little bit of everything.
2. Head to The Broad Museum – Even "museum haters" will love this place. Who cares about pieces from Andy Warhol or Jean-Michel Basquiat? This place has great selfie spots like the Big Dining Room Table!
3. Take a stroll in Little Tokyo and have lunch at a Ramen spot – If you love Japanese culture, devote more time here. Honestly, I had to pry myself away from Little Tokyo because I had other things to see. Get ramen at Daikkokuya Little Tokyo or Shin-Sen-Gumi Hakata. Before leaving, go to the oldest Japanese bakery in America at Fugetsu-Do.
• If you don't care for Japanese food, go to Howlin' Rays for Nashville Style hot chicken.
4. Do a quick drive-through of the Arts Districts to see the incredible murals. There's no need to get out of the car.
5. Drive-up north, park your car and see the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Chinese Theatre, and the Dolby Theatre. I don't think an explanation is necessary. Honestly, I just came to see Godzilla's star.
6. Now we're going to do another car tour. Drive through Sunset Boulevard, Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills.
7. Watch the sunset at the Santa Monica Pier.
8. On the way back from Santa Monica, grab a hard-shell taco at Tito's Tacos – This restaurant is famous for its hard-shell tacos.
9. Get Afghan Style Ice Cream at Mashti Malone's Ice Cream.
