Currently in Puerto Rico and I can’t believe how many people I’ve run into! Some I haven’t seen since before COVID so meeting up with them again was healing.
If you haven't been to San Francisco, you should
definitely go. I had a lot of fun there, and I know you will too. Here’s my list of things to do in the area…
Golden Gate Bridge - You can't go to San Francisco without visiting this bridge. So, make it happen! Did you know that this bridge was supposed to be colored black and yellow to make it more visible to ships? Thank God this idea got
canceled.🙏🏼
Alcatraz - Take the tour because the stories about Alcatraz are amazing! Many famous gangsters stayed here like Al
Capone, Machine Gun Kelly (not the rapper), and Bumpy Johnson. Ever since COVID had us locked up in our homes, I have a new outlook on prisons. Especially solitary confinement, which is cruel and unusual punishment!
California Academy of Sciences - This location features a rainforest, aquarium, and planetarium all in one place. It was a good time.
Exploratorium - This interactive museum is for Adults of all ages to enjoy themselves while still learning something cool. Even kids were enjoying the museum and it’s hard to capture a child’s attention.
Go on a hike - I went hiking outside of SF, but there are many places to
hike in the area - like Twin Peaks.
General Areas to Check Out
Fisherman's Wharf - Very
touristy! Try some seafood (if that’s your vibe), go for a walk, and do some souvenir shopping.
Chinatown - The largest Chinatown outside of Asia. Gotta check it out!
Mission District - I had the most fun here. Trendy bars, indie music venues, and amazing murals and street art.
Alamo Square - Great views of the city. Take it all in!
Quick Pit Stops
The Painted Ladies - Victorian houses that appeared in the television show Full House.
Lombard
Street - A windy street that is nice to drive through and look at.
The Palace of Fine Arts - This location has been in many movies so perfect for a photo op.
Musée
Mécanique - Old-school arcade. It's a literal time warp. Kind of disturbing, but I enjoyed it!

It's exhausting to hear from every international person that their country is better than the United States. Every country can’t be better than the
U.S. Is this really true? I have no idea, but I will say this: home is where the heart is. 🏠💙
