I just returned from Kansas City and I ate so much barbecue that I feel like I'm turning into a brisket. While Iāve never been
much of a barbecue fan, Iāve learned that the barbecue in Nashville is definitelyĀ better than the barbecue on the East Coast. I recommend giving it a try.

I had a great time in Nashville, Tennessee and would 100% go back again. Here are some things to do:
Frist Art Museum: The entire museum changes every couple of months, which is why I liked it. When I was there, the focus was on guitars.
Parthenon: It may seem completely random that Nashville has a replica of Greeceās the Parthenon. However, this is because Nashville used to be called the Athens of the South due to its emphasis on higher education. Be sure to check it out! Ā

Try the food!:
Nashville is renowned for its food, especially its barbecue. šSo make sure to try it, then eat more, and indulge in evenĀ moreĀ after that. Below are some of my recommendationsā¦
Hattie B's Hot Chicken: This may not be the original chicken place, but I think it has the
chicken with the best variety of flavors.Ā Don't try the absolute hottest flavor though, you might need medical attention afterwards.Ā
Peg Leg Porker: Known for Nashville-style BBQ so try it out.Ā
Assembly Food Hall: This is a food market area where you can try any food that you're into, including food that Nashvilleās famous for.Ā
Check
out the country bars: There's a reason why Nashville is called Music City. Country music can be heard everywhere. That being said, head to Broadway Street and check out the bars there. Below are some of the bars I particularly liked:
The National Museum of African American Music: I enjoyed this museumĀ so much that I went twice. It showcases the major influence that the African American community has had on all genres of music in the U.S. and in the world.
Things not to do:
Please don't wear cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. š¤ The locals will be able to spot you from a mile away! Iām being serious though.Ā
What would you like to do the most in Nashville?
