The Olympics are here! 🥇

Which country are you rooting for?

I’m not biased or anything, but...

THE JAMAICANS ARE GOING TO DOMINATE TRACK AND FIELD
Â
Â
After a trip, do you have leftover currency?
Â
Initially, it's like a cool souvenir, and when you start collecting multiple currencies, it feels like you can effortlessly travel to many countries. However, this doesn't make much
sense because you can already do that with a credit card…
Â
But it starts becoming a problem when you have a bunch of foreign cash lying around not being used.
Â
Â
So, what do you do with all that cash?
Â
I know what you’re thinking,
Â
“Andrew, you can just exchange the spare
cash at those kiosks before flying back home.”
Â
PLEASE DON’T DO THAT!
Â
You’ll be hit with tons of fees and you won’t get the best exchange rate.
Also, don’t spend your leftover currency on overpriced souvenirs before you board the
plane.
Â
Do this instead: Check with your local bank.
Â
Many banks have exchange services where they’ll take your cash and exchange it for you.
Â
And depending on the bank, you’ll get the best
market rates and no additional fees!
Â
Try it out and let me know what you think.
Â
Keep traveling,
Andrew

Skyscanner: An older, but still reliable website that’s also *FREE* so there’s no reason not to use it. Use the "Explore the World" feature and set your departure date to "Whole Month" to find the cheapest deals.
Insurance:
Safety Wing: I use Safety Wing as my travel insurance because the plans are flexible. You can easily insure a 1-week trip for like $11 dollars which is less than the cost of a cocktail at the bar.
